In order to recover from the ankle injury that has hampered his form in the current season, Manchester United have sent star striker Wayne Rooney to the United States. It is now confirmed that the striker, which has just signed a 13 million per season contract to stay at Old Trafford and bury reports linking him to other clubs (including Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid), will not feature in the Derby of Manchester between United and City.
